Postponement of festival to 2024
We have made a realistic integral assessment of our big project Big Heart Big Mind - and have come to the conclusion that if it is to be the great success we want - we need more time - so we are therefore moving the festival to next year. So the dates will be week 31 & 32 - in 2024. That is, 29th July to 11th August
We have gone through the entire journey - before, now and for the future - and we could go through with it this year. However, since Steven and I both work full time “on the side” - it would be too much pressure if the result is to live up to our expectations.
We have had a setback because two competent men in the core group who were responsible for all the marketing activities, SoMe and finance, had to prioritize paid work instead - therefore our ability to communicate and use our wonderful homepage has been severely hampered from the start. Which actually turned out to be our lucky break. :-)
Because not only have we been confirmed in the durability of the concept, since we have presented the idea to (24) teachers, where 95% of all said yes straight away after only an hour's personal presentation of the idea, the structure and the vision. But because everyone was super excited about the idea of upgrading the whole "tantra festival idea" which we believe has actually been locked in place for the last 30 years. Our deep desire to find a beautiful balance between heart and brain is shared by all we talk to.
That is why we continue the work with the same vigilance as we have done up till now- but instead of stressing - we can do things properly and thoroughly. We also get the important time for reflection and time to incorporate feedback from teachers and future participants.
We are in fact all very happy and relieved - and now look forward to presenting all the teachers we have gathered to you all. As a bonus two of our favorite teachers were busy for 2023 - but luckily we can get them for next year - because suddenly we are in good time ;-)
We will now have time to make smaller events and retreats where we can open the doors, explain and cocreate the process and ideas further .
We have come to realize quite how complex it is communicate the concept of "integral tantra" on platforms where people only have a concentration time of 40 seconds.
We will therefore take an alternative approach with our future presentations, so that we can maintain respect for all the fine nuances and beautiful complexities 🙏🏼
We are really looking forward to creating a fantastic festival on Agersø in the summer of 2024.
