Questions about the festival

Big Heart Big Mind Tantra Festival is an adults only festival.
You have to be 18 years or above to attend and you are not allowed to bring children under age.

Ticket are only sold through this website.
Once exchanged for a wrist band at the festival they are strictly personal and cannot be shared with or sold to anyone else.

Tickets to Big Heart Big Mind Tantra Festival are non-refundable.
According to Danish “Act on certain consumer agreements § 17 subsection 2 cf. § 9 subsection 2 no. 2a”, the purchase of tickets is not covered by the right of cancellation.
A refund can only be made in the event of a cancellation of the entire festival.
Big Heart Big Mind Tantra Festival reserves the right to make changes to the programme. No refunds are given in the event of cancellation of individual teachers.

You are welcome to sell your ticket to friends and family.
However there is a legal prohibition against resale for commercial purposes: according to "Act on the resale of tickets for cultural and sports events", it is not allowed to sell and re-sell tickets at a premium in Denmark. This means, among other things, that it is prohibited to resell tickets with profit.

Big Heart Big Mind will host workshops, talks, art projects, music, practical and well as mental teachings, risk zones, safe zones, young zones and quiet zones.

The festival is meant to embrace all preferences, boundaries and limits on an integral level.
It is constructed through a 100% transparent “spicyness policy”, where zones and workshops can be entered based on a “chilli barometer”.
1 chilli = Sweet = 100% safe and sober. No nudity, no touching, no challenges of the uncertain. You can participate in the entire festival at this level, if you are most comfortable here.
2 chilli’s = Spicy = an invitation to push your personal boundaries slightly. Nudity can occur and workshops where you are encouraged to physically interact with your partner or a stranger (there will be no sexual intercourse at any time) will take place.
3 chilli’s = HOT = Challenge yourself. These workshops or events will be for people who wish to explore their sexuality, their partnerships, their introverted selves and their worldviews. Nudity and public lessons with a partner will occur.
4 chilli’s = Kinky hot = here you will engage in a kinky space where e.g. fetiches are explored (with full consent) and you can surrender into an even more sexual space. It could be BDSM or many other activities.

Safety is important.
At times it can be beneficial to challenge yourself and expand your boundaries in order to evolve as a human being.
Other times some of your boundaries are in deed a healthy sign of where to stop challenging yourself.
Look inwards with authenticity and you will often know when it is time for what.
We do however encurage participants to explore their boundaries a bit.
Start in a zone that feels comfortable. Then if you feel curious try at least one workshop or event that feels “Spicy” to you.
Due to our strict policy of “consent” Big Heart Big Mind is meant to be a safe haven for personal expansion where all speak the same respectful language.

At Big Heart Big Mind we take personal boundaries very serious.
Therefore a “Consent Workshop” on the first day of the festival is mandatory for all particpants.
This way we will have a shared understanding of boundaries and limits both physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and sexual and a shared language of how to communicate and respect them.
After the workshop participants sign an agreement that they have understood and accepted the rules of play.
If minor violations occur a designated member of staff will have a conversation with the offender and the offended. If forgiveness can be obtained the offender will get a warning. If not he or she will get expelled from the festival.
Larger violations will result in immediate expulsion.
Questions about my stay

Big Heart Big Mind Tantra Festival will be located on a 6 hectare, beautiful nature property on the peaceful island of Agersø.
Agersø is a tiny, Danish, picture perfect natural paradise that attracts many nature tourist every year. It has plenty of wild life both on land and above - including lots of deer, pheasants, hare and larger predatory birds.
The island is small enough to walk and the local community is centred around a tiny harbor and a sleepy village with a mini market, a small lake and an old, picturesque corn mill. There are beautiful beaches all around that are easily accessible.
The festival property is located on fertile land at the top center of the island with a 360 degrees sea view and only 300m to the beach.

By car: Driving to Stigsnæs Harbor takes about 1,5 hours from Copenhagen.
If you arrive by car you can either bring it to the island (we have a free parking area on the festival ground) or you can leave it at the free, public parking lot, right next to Stigsnæs harbor, and board the ferry by foot.
Agersø is small enough to walk around, so we recommend doing that - unless you carry heavy bags.
Public transport: Take a regional train from anywhere in Denmark to Korsør Station. From there take local bus nr. 907 to Stigsnæs Harbor. It ususally arrives in time to reach the ferry. You can plan your trip and see prices here.
Ferry: Public ferries to Agersø leave from Stigsnæs Harbor on the mainland every hour and the journey takes only 15 beautiful minutes. You can buy ferry tickets online or when entering the ferry upon arrival.
Please note that, during summer high season, booking your ferry ticket in advance is recommended if you bring a car (this also applies to leaving the island, especially because many people will leave at the same time after the festival).
When the ferry arrives at Agersø Harbor you can either walk or drive to the festival ground following this route. Walking takes approximately 10-15 minutes and driving takes 3 minutes.

You can only enter the festival with a prepaid ticket confirmation. Once you arrive at the entrance of the festival grounds you need to check in with the crew. Bring your confirmation + personal id and they will give you a festival wrist band.
The wrist band is strictly personal and you have to wear it during the whole festival. If at any point you are asked by a crew member to show it but you don’t have one, you will get excluded immediately.
In case you loose it please contact a crew member straight away.
You can arrive and check in during the first day of the festival between 09.00 and 14.00. If you will arrive later than that, please notice us in advance here.

Your ticket includes 3 meals a day which will be prepared by our volunteer staff and served at the designated dining area.
The festival food will be mainly vegetarian but with animal based options at every meal and we will do our best to cater to all diets.
At least once during the festival we will host a pizzadinner, where guests can bake their own homemade pizzas (we provide all ingredients) in our wood-fired pizza oven located outside.
If you prefer to eat out there are a few local options on the island. Mainly the Agersø Inn or at minor venues at the harbor.
There is also a local mini market that will cover your basic needs, but specialty items need to be brought in from the mainland.

Access to the festival camp ground is included in your ticket but you need to bring your own tent or campervan. We have plenty of space so whether you bring a popup festival tent or a glamping palace is up to you.
Please remember that we wish to care for our local environment so it is your responsibility to leave no trace upon departure. We are sincerely grateful for your help at cleaning your own space.
If you wish to upgrade your comfy level we have a limited number of 8m2 luxurious glamping tents that you can pre-book here. They all come with basic furniture, a double bed + fresh sheets, linens and towels. These tents have to be left in the same state as received, otherwise we will keep your prepaid deposit. Once inspected and approved by our grew, we will return the deposit to your bank account no later than 2 days upon departure.

Our festival is catered to attract beautiful and enlightened souls. We therefore trust that all belongings can be safely left anywhere at the festival grounds at all times and personal boundaries will be respected 100%.
The island itself has had no reported thefts in more than 15 years and we intend to keep it that way. Therefore we urge all guests to keep an eye on each others belongings and report any misbehaviour to our crew immediately.
Personal safety is needless to say just as important. Please read our FAQ about boundaries and consent for further info on this matter.

All drugs (legal or illegal) as well as alcohol is strickly banned at the festival.
We take personal limits very serious at Big Heart Big Mind and we believe both alcohol and drugs will interfere with a persons ability to act responsibly to this. Therefore we have created an atmosphere where every level of consent can be understood with a pure mind.
If you are seen using any of these substances at any time during the festival you will be expelled immediately with no refund and no discussion.
